We are sorry to inform you that due to high temperatures this upcoming weekend we have decided it is best to postpone our Princess and Superhero day until August 5th. We are very excited still for this event and look forward to seeing you all at the later date, we are just airing on the side of caution when it comes to the safety of everybody. We hope you have a fantastic day And we hope to see you in August!

Hospice of Washington County first opened its doors thirty years ago in May 1988 serving the Washington County community. This year we are honored to celebrate our 30th anniversary of providing quality, compassionate end-of-life care for our community, which now includes Henry, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Louisa, Muscatine and Washington Counties.

As part of our yearlong celebration we are holding a 30 day - $300,000 fundraising campaign. We want to ensure future success by creating a base from which we can continue to grow. Please consider making a tax deductible financial contribution to the Hospice of Washington County Foundation to help us meet this goal. By making a donation you will be helping Hospice of Washington County continue to provide hospice and palliative care to our community members and their families..

No donation is too small! A snowflake alone is fragile, but when many snowflakes join they become strong and unstoppable like an avalanche.

Mark your calendars- we will be holding our 30th anniversary celebration on May 22, 2018. We will have an open house from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and will host Alive After Five from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm. The event will be held at our office at 948 East 11th Street in Washington. We will serve light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments for your enjoyment while you tour our office and meet the staff, volunteers and board members.

Please come join us as we pay honor to those that shaped and built this organization from the grass roots to what it is today!
