Established in 1988
Hospice of Washington County was established in 1988 as a not-for-profit agency to provide end-of-life care to our community members facing a terminal diagnosis and life expectancy of six months or less.
We are a licensed Medicare/Medicaid approved agency. Hospice care is paid for by a Medicare or Medicaid Hospice Benefit and many private insurances.
Hospice of Washington County will accept all hospice appropriate patients regardless of their ability to pay for end-of-life care. We hold fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to cover the costs for services provided to underinsured patients.
